Driver CPC Training.
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is a mandatory training program designed to ensure that all professional drivers maintain and enhance their driving skills and knowledge throughout their careers.
We currently offer the International Driver CPC and can deliver the 7 hours of training at your workplace or online with a minimum of 5 drivers.
International Driver CPC
All drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) qualification lasts for 5 years. To keep the qualifications up to date drivers must undertake 35 hours’ periodic training before the end of the five-year deadline. If the training is not completed during that time, the driver will not be permitted to drive professionally until they have completed their 35 hours.
This comprehensive 7 hours training covers a wide range of topics, including:
• Safe and fuel-efficient driving techniques
• Legislation and regulations
• Load security and vehicle safety
• First aid and emergency procedures
• Driver and vehicle documentation
Drivers and operators can be fined up to £1000 for driving without Driver CPC.
